Agreement of German Federal and State Governments
The federal and state governments have discussed what efforts are needed to support Ukraine and the people who have fled the war. At their meeting on 7.4.2022, they have stated that refugees from Ukraine can immediately take up a job in Germany. Regarding the regulated professions, they have stated (free translation):
In the case of regulated professions, the federal and state governments will work to ensure rapid and uniform recognition of Ukrainian professional and educational qualifications. A uniform approach will avoid divergent assessments – even in the case of multiple applications in the event of a change of residence.
